Local road closure will affect access to Gatcombe Park -

The B4014 between Nailsworth and Avening will be closed to all traffic during the month of September. This will affect any competitor attempting to access the Avening turn to Gatcombe Park from the West ie Nailsworth or South from Stroud.

There will be diversions signposted on Well Hill opposite the Weighbridge Inn just West of Nailsworth on the B4014 and in Nailsworth onto the W Road to Box and Minchinhampton. Both these diversions MUST be avoided as they are totally unsuitable for lorries and cars/trucks with trailers. Competitors should also avoid the centre of Minchinhampton as it is very narrow and with few passing places.

Competitors travelling from the south should drive via Tetbury and follow the diversion signs to Avening and Minchinhampton NOT the signs to Nailsworth.

Competitors travelling via Stroud should proceed via the A419 Cirencester Road and turn right at Aston Down and follow the blue event signs.

Competitors travelling via Cirencester should proceed on the A419 Stroud Road and follow the blue event signs as usual.

There could also be delays at new roundabout roadworks on the A419 at Aston Down turning to Minchinhampton.
